For every construction or design project that we pursue with any DIFFA benefactor, Walker Ridge will donate 3% of the total contract value to DIFFA. DIFFA: Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS

DIFFA raises awareness and grants funds to organizations that provide treatment, direct care services, preventative education programs, and advocacy for individuals impacted by HIV/AIDS. DIFFA serves a broad range of organizations and communities, including LGBTQ youth, at-risk minority populations, and incarcerated populations.

The DIFFA grant philosophy is to address the most pressing community needs, closing the gap left by insufficient and declining government funding. Prevention of new HIV/AIDS cases in at-risk groups, namely the homeless community and those suffering from opiod addiction, has become more critical in recent years.

DIFFA has a three-star rating on Charity Navigator and a Platinum Seal of Transparency on GuideStar charity rating platforms. Since their founding in 1984, DIFFA has granted over $47 million dollars to HIV/AIDS foundations nationwide. DIFFA is one of the few HIV/AIDS organizations that grants unrestricted funds to AIDS service agencies in our community, providing for flexible spending in direct care and education programs. This allows DIFFA to ensure that necessities like utilities, transportation, hot meals, and buddy programs are provided for. You can learn more about the organization here.
